About the Department
The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Qadisiyah University was established in December 2017 as the unit responsible for applying the quality and accreditation system — institutional, programmatic and laboratory — across all colleges, centers and administrative units of the university.
The department coordinates with the university presidency, all scientific and administrative departments, and relevant external bodies (the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education, and international accreditation bodies).
Divisions
The department comprises three principal divisions working in an integrated manner:
1. Performance Evaluation Division
Responsible for preparing annual institutional performance-evaluation forms, monitoring their application across colleges and centers, analyzing the results and issuing reports.
2. Assurance Division
Responsible for following up the implementation of quality-assurance standards, preparing improvement plans, and embedding a culture of quality among the academic and administrative staff.
3. Accreditation Division
Manages institutional, programmatic and laboratory accreditation files, liaises with local and international accreditation bodies, and tracks ISO certifications.
Administrative Reporting
The department reports directly to the President of Al-Qadisiyah University.
