To establish a quality culture as deeply rooted expertise among the scientific and administrative staff of Al-Qadisiyah University, and to apply local, regional and international standards in education and scientific research in alignment with sustainable development goals.
Mission
To apply quality-assurance standards in order to provide a sustainable educational environment, and to pursue continuous improvement through institutional and programmatic accreditation while tracking every relevant development in the field of quality and accreditation at the local and international levels.
Objectives
1. Quality Assurance
- Build an integrated quality-assurance system covering academic, administrative and research activities
- Monitor the application of quality policies across all colleges and centers of the university
- Disseminate a quality culture among university personnel
2. Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation
- Prepare institutional accreditation files in line with Ministry of Higher Education requirements
- Support academic programs in obtaining programmatic accreditation
- Coordinate with international accreditation bodies (ABET, AACSB, ASIIN and others)
3. Performance Evaluation
- Implement the annual institutional performance-evaluation forms
- Issue periodic reports on the performance of colleges and centers
- Propose improvement plans based on evaluation results
4. International Rankings
- Track Al-Qadisiyah University’s position in global rankings (Times, QS, Webometrics, Scimago)
- Collect and submit the required data to ranking bodies
- Improve the performance indicators that feed into the rankings
5. Laboratory Accreditation
- Pursue laboratory accreditation in line with international standards (ISO/IEC 17025)
- Inventory laboratories and document their capabilities
- Promote laboratory safety standards
